A little history first.
I have been in the transmission industry for over 30 years so besides being old I have really seen a lot of great things and even more mistakes. Started in this industry at 16, as a swamper (clean up guy) and worked at AAMCO transmissions on Getwell Ave with some really wonderful people that rescued me from being homeless with my at the time girlfriend. Ray And Rhonda Foster took us both in and put me to work, after a short time and a lot of training I became a very proficient removal and replacement Technican. Ray along with Giles Hibler continued to train me in every aspect of this business and I soaked it up like a sponge, I became one of the best R/R Techs in the country and started training on the road for AAMCO in several states, as I grew into the position and learned even more I began doing Diagnosis and some building. Builders are a special breed in this business and I am honest enough to say I just did not have the patients to do it but for a few years before going back to R/R where I would make videos for car manufactures on the proper technic for there training, along with being the fastest in the east, during my time. I did a lot of Diag and started learning the front counter, customer service and sales, this is where I meet Jack Yost with Mr. Transmission Corp Headquarters, I will stop here for tonight and continue to tel the story tomorrow. This is my first ever blog so if it is looking wrong please leave me advice, I can take it....
